When does the Course Starts?

The Course Training is conducted three times round the year, i.e. February, June, October.

How long is the duration of the Course Training?

We offer an extensive 3 months training for Events Courses, 2 months respectively for Cosmetology and Nail Technology Classes.


Course Length

Students attend for a total of 600 hours. Full time students attend for a total of 30 hours per week for 21 weeks on the following schedule.

 0-150 hours Tuesday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
 Saturday 8.30 am – 3.00 pm
 151-600 hours Tuesday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
    and Every Other Saturday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Part Time students are expected to attend 18-24 hours/week (average of 21 hours/week) for 32 weeks on the following schedule.

 0-350 hours Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
 351-1600 hours Tuesday – Thursday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
     and Every Other Saturday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

NOTE: Arrangements may be made for different days during the week, if needed.


Does the Institute have a Dress Code?

We recommend that you dress smartly, something casual will be nice. A simple cocktail dresses or business casual dress would be adequate!

Do I have to Pre-register?

We encourage that you pre-register online, however we may visit us at the office if need be to pick up forms and ask any bugging questions.

How Much Does it Cost to Attend?

$212 for persons who pre-register online For Event Management Courses

$220 for persons who come to the office For Event Management Courses

$117 for persons who Pre-register online for other courses

$125 for persons who comes to the office for other courses


What should I expect?

The course offers to give you an insight into becoming a Professional Event Manager, Make-up Artist and Nail Technician. It offers you the opportunity to work in the Events Industry, Event Consultant in an Event Management Firm, and become your own boss.

The course will also develop and nurture your understanding of the main operators and influences upon the dynamic and fast moving industry as a business opportunity and this is discussed in detail.


Application Process

To apply for the course, candidates are required to fill out an online application form and submit a non-refundable application fee of $20.00.

• Application form • High School or Undergraduate Degree Diploma • Résumé / CV (include reference to all previous education) • Personal Statement • Intermediate command of the English language (TOEFL/IELTS is a plus) • Photocopy of passport / ID document • Two passport-sized photographs • Non-refundable $20.00 application fee


CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES

Posh Education, a sub-arm of Poshmy Wedding and Events, currently keeps all information of continuing education classes. This information is available to the student or graduate upon request for future training.
